All finely painted with scattered flower sprays, comprising:
A large sugar-bowl and cover with carnation finial, 434 in. (12 cm.) high
A small sugar-bowl and cover painted in the Sèvres style with a bird in landscape, with rose finial, 4 in. (10 cm.) high
A small lobed oval dish, 634 in. (17 cm.) long
Provenance
The Collection of Marguerite Glover; Parke Bernet Galleries, New York, 22-23 March 1957, lot 332 (the bird sugar-bowl) and 337 (larger sugar-bowl).
Acquired by Annie Laurie Crawford, later Aitken (1900-1984) from the above.
