Watercolour and gouache on card. Examined within the frame, behind glass. There is paint loss to the upper centre and upper left of the figure’s head scarf, within the dark blue and red pigments. On very close inspection, one further small instance of paint loss within the light blue pigment in the upper left corner, and some areas of very fine hairline cracking to the left vertical edge. Some hairline cracking to the thicker white pigment of the head scarf in the upper right quadrant, and some further instances of cracking to the figure’s nose. Subject to the above the work appears to be in good overall condition.
