The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Oil on panel. The panel appears to be straight and solid. The painted surface is covered in a light surace dirt and the varnish has slightly discoloured. There are light abrasions to the surface, which is visible in the illustration. There is a faint horizontal line visible, upon close inspection, relating to a panel joint.

Examination under UV shows no apparent retouches. Overall the painting presents well in a light coloured, simple frame.
