Of lobed shape, each decorated in underglaze blue with scenes of Dutch square-riggers exchanging broadsides, a longboat containing a group of sailors in the foreground, beneath a cumulus sky, the rim with a foliage design, the base with a Chinese style inscription Dai min seika nen sei
