The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The first overall in good condition with some typical and minor wear consistent with age including some fine scratches to base and slight wear to the gold lacquer surface. The hinge is in good order and the interior has some fine cracks and small chips to the lacquer.
The second has wear overall including chips to the lacquer around the edges of the cover, sides and base. There are small dents and scratches and the interior has losses to the black surface and considerable wear.
