The moulded foliate-rimmed dish painted in various coloured enamels and gilt on underglaze blue with a central roundel enclosing sprays of chrysanthemums and peonies in a basket, surrounded by four panels of various flowers including camellia, wisteria, peonies and cherry blossoms, a band with plum, pine and bamboo to the rim, the reverse with clematis flowers and scrolling foliage, a band of stylised cloud and circumferential rings to the footring
