The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
As can be seen in the illustration there is some old wear consistent with age and use, including minor inlay losses, minor dents and chips in particular around the edges. There are a few larger chips to the back right corner. The base with some wear and scratches. The hinge is in good order. Otherwise this box is in good condition considering its age and use.
