Each smiling lady standing and lifting the loosely fitting kimono with her right hand, her hair tied up with white ribbon at the back, decorated in iron-red, green, aubergine, brown and black enamels, pink wash and gilt on underglaze blue, her kimono elaborately decorated with chrysanthemums, the under robe with stylised flowers and scrolls
