A MEISSEN (AUGUSTUS REX) LARGE CHINOISERIE BEAKER-VASE
CIRCA 1730, BLUE AR. MARK
Painted in the manner of J.E. Stadler with an exotic bird in a fenced garden, another bird and an insect in flight above, and with flowering plants issuing from stylised rockwork above a lappet border enclosing chrysanthemums and foliate scrolls (upper section restored)
