Each of the form known in France as ecuelle, circular with two openwork demi flower-head handles, decorated in underglaze blue, the interior with a seated sage, the exterior with a Chinese male and female figures in front of a fence on each side beside trees and rocks, the low domed cover similarly decorated, the finial in the form of a fruit spray
