Edo period (late 17th century)
The first foliate-rimmed saucer decorated in iron-red, blue, green, yellow and black enamels with symmetrical sprays of chrysanthemums, the matching tea bowl similarly decorated with chrysanthemums and two birds

The second foliate-rimmed saucer decorated in iron-red, blue, green, yellow and black enamels with chrysanthemums issuing from rockwork, the matching tea bowl similarly decorated with chrysanthemum, kikyo [Chinese bellflowers] and two birds
