Of ovoid form applied with two handles, hammered and chiseled with a carp jumping out of water, the spray of water finely inlaid in gold, the eye of the carp gilt; signature on base

With original wood stand and box titled Yakuri horimon oudo kabin (copper vase with a jumping carp) on the lid and signed Heian Shobisai Yuko saku tsugu Teiko dai awase kaku (made by Shobisai Yuko after the design and title by Ishii Teiko [1848-1897]) on the underside of the lid and sealed Teiko
