The rectangular box with drop front opening to reveal four drawers with silver pulls, the top of the cabinet mounted with flower-engraved silver fittings and handle, the drop front decorated in gold and silver hiramaki-e, takamaki-e, togidashi and kirikane with a panel of a water mill by a stream, the top and sides with a simulated wood-grain ground in togidashi techinique
