Square with domed lid, decorated in gold, silver and brown hiramaki-e, takamaki-e, togidashi, kirikane and inlaid silver with the moon over Tamagawa River in autumn on a nashiji ground, the underside of the lid decorated in gold, silver and brown haramaki-e, takamaki-e, togidashi and kirikane with autumn flowers by a stream on a nashiji ground; fitted with a slate inkstone, removable tray, paper pricker, ink-stick holder, two brushes and a silver water dropper in the form of blossoming flowers in a leaf-edged saucer in silver; rims silver
