Meiji period (late 19th century)
Finely cast and constructed as the treasure boat of the Seven Gods of Good Fortune (takarabune), the hull of the boat filled with various auspicious goods and lifting off to reveal a compartment lined with green cloth, the goods cast separately and applied, details embellished with gilt; stamped jungin (pure silver) on base and underside of hull
