Three stoneware vases:

The first unglazed and in Bizen style, with waisted upper body and out-turned neck, four deep vertical cuts to each side, impressed JL and St Ives seals to edge of foot

The second with broad body decorated in a dripped green glaze falling towards the foot, some areas unglazed, the body with diagonal incised lines, impressed JL and St Ives seals to the edge of the foot

The third a bottle vase with tall neck, the ridged body decorated overall in a speckled green glaze over which a kaki glaze has been poured, incised concentric rings to the shoulder, impressed JL and St Ives seals to the edge of the unglazed foot
16.2cm., 18cm. and 19cm. high respectively
