A very large and impressive earthenware flagon, decorated with white slip applied to the body and neck, the form then vigorously and freely decorated through to the contrasting red body using finger wipe and stick work techniques with loose chevrons, meandering and straight lines enclosing stag and turkey motifs, all beneath a straw-coloured glaze, impressed MC and Winchcombe seals to the edge of the foot at one side
