Edo- Meiji period (19th century)
Of globular form, decorated in underglaze blue with a dragon in low relief flying amongst swirling clouds, an incised key fret border around the rim, the cover similarly decorated with landscape and a key fret border with the finial shaped as a crouching shishi [lion dog]
