EDO PERIOD (18TH CENTURY), SIGNED TOYO (IITZUKA TOYO; 1725?-1790) WITH CURSIVE MONOGRAM (KAO)

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
It is in our opinion that the property is in fair overall condition for its age, except:
-There are some chips, surface wear, scratches, tiny dents and few cracks.
-There is a restored chip to the left bottom edge on the front side and a restored crack on the top of base.
-There are some kirikane and inlay loss; few of them with retouch.
-There are areas with potential restoration to the left top edge on the front side and to the middle left of reverse.
