The iron hemi-spherical twenty four-plate o-boshi kabuto (ridged-plate helmet with rounded protruding rivets) in Kamakura period style (13th-14th century), with elaborate gilt hachimanza (decorative fixture at the central aperture) of five-tier, with gilt shinodare (four sets of pendant arrow shaped decorative pieces), the bowl with four hibiki-no-ana(small holes adjacent to protruding rivets with vestiges of textile), with gilt kuwagata-dai (fixture for two gilt horns) pierced with scrolling chrysanthemums and the gilt maedate (forecrest) of a 'shigami' beast

Neck guard [shikoro]:
The wide and gently curving kasa-jikoro ("straw hat," or "umbrella"-shape neck guard) of red, orange and white lacing kebikiodoshi (close-lacing) of lacquered shittsukezane (plate in semblance of individual lamellae), the large double fukigaeshi (turn-backs) clad with leather and with gilt mon (family crest) of butterfly

Face mask [menpo]:
The russet iron menpo (face mask) with detachable nose, the yodare-kake (bib) and nodowa (gorget-throat protector) of thickly-lacquered honkozane (individual lacquered iron scales)

Cuirass [do]:
The black lacquered honkozane domaru (cuirass) of red, orange and white lacing kebikiodoshi (close-lacing), a rare pair of waki-biki (under-arm pieces) of leather-covered shittsukezane (plate in semblance of individual lamellae) and gyoyo (breast pendants) of leather-clad and with gilt kiri mon (family crest), the eight kusazuri (skirt) in five tiers of honkozane of lacquered plates

Sleeves and shoulder guards [kote and sode]:
The 'Yoshitsune-gote' (sleeves in the style of the National Treasure kote in the collection of Kasuga Shrine) decorated with gilt parts, o-sode (large shoulder guards) of black lacquered honkozanewith red, orange and white lacing

Thigh protector and lower leg guards [haidate and sune-ate]:
The haidate(thigh protectors) of honkozane in red, orange and white lacing, the black lacquer sanbon tsutsu-suneate (lower leg guards) with gilt fittings

Accessories: The saihai (signal baton), two lacquered wood armor storage boxes
