The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

1. Good impression and colour. Small thin area to left sheet. Slight trimming.
2. Good impression and colour. Minute repair to top edge of middle sheet. Small repair in the sky of the left sheet. Minor wear to paper edges and slight trimming.
3. Good impression. Some fading and rubbing overall. Some soiling and creased overall. Paper thinning in places and repairs to left sheet upper centre, and two corners. Slight trimming. Later applied circular seal in black ink to the left and middle sheets.
4. Good impression and colour. Some rubbing, light soiling and toning. Left edge of right sheet with fold top to bottom with thinning and losses and some repair. Middle sheet with binding holes to left edge.
