The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

1. Generally good impressions and colour. Extensive wormage to each print, some of which has been later touched-in. Each print slightly trimmed and backed onto card forming an album. Some toning. The album structure is in good condition with minor wear to covers consistent with age.
2. Generally good impressions and colours. Each sheet soiled, rubbed and with wear to edges. Some damages in places and slight wormage near the binding. Some creasing. Album covers with considerable old wear including surface losses and heavy creasing. String binding later replaced.
