The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

These paintings are in a stable condition overall. Consistent with age, there are scattered losses to the pigments, minor discolouration and some surface abrasions but the scenes remain clear overall. As illustrated, some of the painting have small scuffs and minor losses to the red margins. The scene depicting Krishna and Radha standing has a repaired tear running horizontally across the centre of the painting, this also has a small wormhole in the upper half of the painting. The painting depicting the lady with attendant has a hole and associated burn marks to the lower border, as shown in the illustration.
