The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In fairly good condition overall.
With the inevitable knocks, marks, losses, scratches and shrinkage cracks, consistent with age and use.
The red velvet cover in fair condition but with some heavy wear to the seat with heat damage which has affected the appearance noticeably.
The front corner braces replaced.
The rails and ears with some repairs.
Later screw corner blocks.
Replaced blocks to ears throughout and some partial replacements.
Evidence of historic but apparently inactive woodworm to the rails.
The feet scuffed and would benefit from polishing.
Structurally secure and ready to use.
