The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

With the inevitable knocks, marks, losses, scratches and shrinkage cracks, consistent with age and use.
The top bowed to the centre which is noticable.
The top with some scratching, scuffing and dark marks.
The back plank apparently later replaced and historically secured with pasted canvas repair to the interior.
Back left corner with spliced repair.
As stated the handles later and with scars of previous handles.
The brass tarnished and dull in tone.
The legs and feet with pitting, wear and scratching.
The feet with evidence of historic, but apparenty inactive woodworm, and with associated timber losses to the feet.
Structurally secure and ready to use.
