A Moghan Rug, South Caucasus, circa 1890, 213cm. x 121cm. The panelled field containing seven hooked memling guls in a polychrome hooked border, extensively worn, an open split measuring approx.. 50cm. to the centre of one side border and tattered holes at one end and partially lacking outer guard stripes at the other end. Selvages frayed.
A Gendje Runner, South Caucasus, circa 1890, 308cm. x 110cm. The indigo field containing a series of repeated boteh in a polychrome stellar flowerhead border, extensively worn, a hole to the centre of the field, scattered repairs to the structure in the field, small losses to outer guard stripe at each end. Selvages frayed. Mostly natural dyes, a couple of synthetic purple highlights.
A Gendje Rug, South Caucasus, late 19th century, 245cm. x 109cm. The panelled field containing 8 polychrome hooked memling guls, within ivory hooked flowerhead borders, heavily corroded black mostly in the field which makes it appear more worn than it is, lacking outer minor stripe and part of outer guard stripe at one end, selvages mostly worn away.
A South Caucasian Runner, Kazak Region, circa 1880, 301cm. x 104cm. The mid-blue field containing nine memling polychrome guls in an ivory serrated leaf and glass border, extensive areas of wear, a number of worn crease lines, which in places have worn through, one end lacking outer guard stripe, the other a few rows of knots. Both selvages worn or lacking.
A South Caucasian Long Rug, late 19th century, 233cm. x 120cm. The field of polychrome lozenges filled with angular branch-like spray with part lozenges to each side filled with stylised birds, flowers and minor ornaments in an ivory polychrome stellar flowerhead border, areas of considerable wear, corroded brown, repairs to both end guard stripes and partially rebound selvages.
