The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In good decorative condition overall.
The vase itself with some rubbing to the gilt, as to be expected.
The neck rim of the vase with some slight nibbles.
Some minor glaze flaws in places.
There is a drill-hole to the lower body just above the foot on one side.
The giltwood base with some rubbing and wear revealing red bole layer beneath.
Due to the attached giltwood base, it has not been possible to examine the base of the vase.
The shade has some slight marks to the fabric including some droplets of wax.
Electrical components appear to be complete but must be reconditioned prior to use, regardless of whether the lot is shown lit or in working condition in the catalogue. We strongly advise that the item is reconditioned by an appropriately qualified electrician prior to any intended use.
