In overall fairly good country house condition. With the inevitable knocks, marks, losses, scratches and shrinkage cracks, consistent with age and use. Evidence of historic, but apparently inactive, woodworm throughout. The cresting rail with some shrinkage to the corner construction. The splat with repair to the base. The red upholstered seat with some minor wear to the velvet. The timber apparently refinished overall. The front and right hand rails replaced. Reblocked. Later stretcher to the right and centre. The front right foot with spliced repairs. The front left foot with spliced repairs. The back right foot with timber loss. The legs rather pitted overall. The roundel to front left replaced. The roundel to side right replaced. Structurally secure and usable.
