The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Un petit accroc du papier est visible le long du bord gauche dans la partie inférieure. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.
The irregularities (folds, creases) are inherent to laying down the paper. There are few wears and rubbing marks in places along the edges. There is a small snag to the left edge in the lower part. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that this work appears to be in overall good condition.
