The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

-Overall condition: good. Shows normal signs of wear commensurate with age, scratches, nicks and some traces of tarnish. Fitted with secure clasps, necklace with the three roundish garnet cabochons and bracelet with the old-cut garnets also fitted with security catch.
-Additional marks: cabochon garnet bracelet with maker's mark (unidentified), scartch numbers (except the enamelled necklace and garnet cabochon bracelet).
-Garnets: with typical inclusions, some surface-reaching. Scratches and chips visible on all, especially on bracelet with garnet cabochons, enamelled necklace and necklace with three roundish garnet cabochons showing more prominent chips at base
-Enamel: in fair condition, with some losses and repairs.
-Diamonds: on average of SI clarity. Colour cannot be gauged due to the cut.
