The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition: very good. Minor signs of wear. Some small scratches. Double pin with safety catch.
- Additional marks: maker's mark, French marks.
- Please note that the certificate states that the brooch was created in 1959 by Boucheron, however it was originally a double clip brooch that was later modified into this brooch, hence the absence of signature.
- Diamonds: on average G-H colour, VS-SI clarity.
