The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

-Overall condition good. Shows normal signs of use commensurate with age including scratches and indentations. Secure lid.
-Additional marks: maker's mark (partially indistinct).
-Enamel: with some losses especially on the reverse and traces of re-enameling.
-Sapphires and emeralds: with typical inclusions and a few surface reaching.
-Diamonds: bright and lively.
