The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition: commensurate with age. Some scratches and nicks throughout. Traces of tarnish.
- Movement 12 jewels.
- Agate in very good condition, a few typical inclusions.
- Blue guilloché and white enamel in very good condition, light spotting to white enamel.
- Sapphires with typical inclusions.
- Diamonds bright and lively.
- Movement ticking at time of cataloguing, however working order and timekeeping cannot be guaranteed at time of purchase.
