The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition: good. Shows normal signs of wear, some small scratches and nicks. Traces of tarnish.
- Fittings: each with single pin and safety catch. Largest brooch with detachable pin and element.
- Diamonds: largest diamond approximately J-K colour, I clarity. The remaining diamonds on average J-K colour (some L), SI-I clarity (a few piqué).
- Ruby: with a few typical inclusions, one ruby deficient.
