FURTHER DETAILS
The House of Janesich was established in 1835 in the Italian coastal city of Trieste. Being one of the biggest and most important Mediterranean port at the time, Trieste attracted a lot of international and wealthy people from whom Leopold Janesich's knew how to benefit from. It is with success and a growing reputation, that the Janesich House expanded throughout Italy and Austria. In 1896, the name would be also visible in Paris, on the famous rue de la Fayette, and in 1913 an office would open in London.

The fine and delicate diamond and gem set jewellery would soon attract important clients such as European royals and aristocrats, leading to the firm being awarded the Royal Warrant of the House of Savoy in 1925. The 1920's and 30's were particularly successful for the Janesich house who manufactured sumptuous jewellery pieces and accessories in the style that would become known as Art Deco.

Today, the house is still operating from Trieste, by the sixth generation of the Janesich Family.
