The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
- Overall condition: good. Shows normal signs of wear, a few small scratches throughout. A few traces of tarnish and solder marks.
- Fittings: each brooch with single pin and safety catch.
- Diamonds: bright and lively.
- Rubies: with a few typical inclusions.
- Emeralds: with a few typical inclusions.
- Enamel: a few small losses and chips.
