The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
- Overall conditions: good. Shows normal signs of wear, commensurate with age, some scratches throughout. Traces of tarnish.
- Fittings: pocket watch with detached loose glass cover.
- Diamonds: bright and lively.
- Ruby and sapphire: with typical inclusions and abrasion marks.
- Onyx: with typical inclusions and some chips.
- Movement not running in time of cataloguing, service recommended.
