FURTHER DETAILS
Karl Edvin (Wiwen) Nilsson (1897-1974) counts among Sweden’s most famous silversmiths. Born in Copenhagen, in 1897, he specialised in the cubic style using geometry as a recurrent theme in his art. He mainly worked with silver, sometimes with gold. However, only a few rings of platinum exist, which makes them very rare.
The ring also bears the AN mark for his father Ander Nilsson.
