The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
- Overall condition: good. Shows normal signs of wear commensurate with age. Scratches and dents throughout on the clasps. Areas of tarnish.
- Fittings: both necklace with secure clasps.
- Additional marks: three strands necklace marked PLAT; two strands necklace marked14K.
- Diamond: bright and lively.
- Sapphire: with typical inclusions, a few with nicks on the facet junctions.
- Pearl: white and cream bodycolour, with rose and green overtones, very good lustre, a few with pits and variations to nacre.
