The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition: good. Shows normal signs of wear commensurate with age. Earrings with a few spots of tarnish on the backings.
- Fittings: ring with size bead; earrings with post and clip backs for pierced ears; brooch with single pinstem.
- Additional marks: ring marked PLAT; brooch and earrings marked 14K.
- Diamond: on average H to I colour, SI clarity.
- Cultured pearl: white and cream bodycolour, with rose and green overtones, good lustre.
