The Van Cleef & Arpels circle clip is among the firms most wonderful Art Deco creations. With an ingenious clip mechanism that allows the brooch to seemingly wrap around the edge of whatever the wearer clips it to, the circle brooch is a favorite of Van Cleef & Arpels collectors. This particular example is very similar in design to another example that appeared in the Van Cleef & Arpels Set in Style book and accompanying exhibition at the Cooper Hewitt Museum in New York City.
