The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition good. Wear commensurate with age, small traces of tarnish and solder. Necklace clasp secure, with later safety chain. Earrings with hook fittings and detachable pendants.
- Fitted period case with heavy signs of wear, predominantly to the base and inside.
- Additional marks: maker's marks 'L crown D in a vertical lozenge' (unidentified).
- Topaz: principal rectangular-cut topaz measures approximately 16.80 x 13.90 x 7.70 mm, total weight approximately 100.00 - 120.00 carats, with a few typical inclusions, some with abrasion and more prominent nicks to facet edges.
