The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition good. Some small scratches to the metal, consistent with normal wear. Single pin fitting, with safely catch (possibly later adapted).
- Additional marks: French assay mark for platinum, French maker's mark 'E possibly a four leaf clover B' (Ervin Bartos).
- Aquamarine: measures approximately 21.6 x 24.5 x 14.2 mm, calculated to weigh approximately 40.00 - 45.00 carats, some small chips and nicks to the crown facets and girdle.
- Lapis lazuli: with typical inclusions, some surface abrasions and small chips to the edges.
- Diamonds: total weight approximately 0.55 - 0.65 carat.
