The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition good. Wear commensurate with age, some small scratches and areas of solder. Possibly later single pin fitting, with safety clasp.
- Additional marks: French assay marks for platinum and gold, later pin with partial French Maker's mark 'A ? possibly C' (unidentified).
- Emeralds: with typical natural inclusions, a few surface reaching, small areas of abrasions and nicks to the surface, one emerald moves slightly in the mounting, but set securely.
- Enamel: in good condition overall, a few small scratches.
- Diamonds: total weight approximately 1.20 - 1.40 carats.
