- Signs of previous adaptations, swing drops and garland swags may once have been detachable and perhaps later reconfigured. Some old small repairs and evidence of solder. Centre appears to have been hinged with additional (now redundant) screw holes. Perhaps once convertible to a corsage/brooch/collier de chien
