The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition good. Signs of wear commensurate with age. Sapphire slightly loose in mount, but secure.
- Additional marks: partial maker's mark to the outside of the band (unidentified), another partial mark to the inside of the band (unidentified).
- Sapphire: measures approximately 16.70 x 16.65 x 10.8 mm, calculated to weigh approximately 21.50 carats, with typical inclusions, several nicks, chips and abrasions to the facet edges and the girdle throughout, slightly brownish inclusion to the pavilion.
- Diamonds: one small rose-cut diamond deficient.
