The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition good. Small scratches to the metal, consistent with normal wear. Clasp secure, with safety chain. Small signs of wear to the period pouch.
- Additional marks: French assay marks for 18 carat gold, 750, maker's mark 'JC flame D' for Jean-Claude Duhem.
- Emerald: measures approximately 18.0 - 20.0 x 13.0 - 14.0 x 7.9 mm, calculated to weigh very approximately 7.50 - 8.50 carats, with typical natural inclusions, a few surface reaching, a few small scratches to the facets.
- Cultured pearls: ranging from approximately 8.5 to 8.8 mm, of cream body colour, with green and rose overtones, round, well matched, some small blemishes and pits.
- Diamonds: total weight approximately 3.00 - 3.50 carats, assessed to be G to H colour, VS clarity.
