The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition good. Some scratches and nicks to the metal throughout, consistent with normal wear. Flexible band.
- Additional marks: French assay mark for 18 carat gold, 750. Maker's mark 'P 2 crossed ears of wheat B SA' for Pierre Brun SA. '54' referring to the Cartier ring size.
- Emeralds: with typical natural inclusions and a small chip.
- Onyx: in good condition, some small nicks.
