The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition good. Scratches and nicks to the metal throughout, consistent with normal wear.
- Additional marks: Swiss and European Convention marks for 18 carat gold, 750, Italian maker's mark 'star 1 TO' (unidentified), ©, α. '18' possibly referring to the Cartier size.
- Amethysts, yellow and pink sapphires, orange and green garnets: with typical natural inclusions and numerous scratches and nicks, a few chips, abrasion to surface.
