The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition good. Wear commensurate with age, small areas of tarnish. With later post fittings. Suspension loops possibly replacements and one cluster surmount possibly later 19th century.
- Metal unsigned. Butterflies stamped 18ct.
- Diamonds: principal pear-shaped diamonds weigh approximately 1.30 - 1.40 carats each, total weight approximately 8.00 - 8.50 carats, assessed to be on average J to K colour, a few small diamonds L colour, VS to SI clarity.
